Aprilia Futura

Reed switch setup.

The reed switch is fixed to a custom bracket on the swingarm, and the magnet fitted into a socket-head bolt on the sprocket, replacing the standard disc bolt

Note:
The Caponord and Futura both have an electronic speedometer, but use a 2-wire inductive type sensor - unfortunately, the signal generated by this sensor is too weak for the Pro-Oiler to read, so you will need the optional GPS module or the separate reed switch setup.

Note: All other Aprilia V2's use a Hall effect sensor on which the signal wire can be tapped instead of using the GPS moduler or the reed switch.

On all other Aprilia V2's, the read switch and magnet setup is replaced by a tap from the electronic speedo sensor, which uses the typical Hall-effect type sensor.
