Reed switch setup. The reed switch is fixed to a custom bracket on the l/h fork leg, and the magnet fitted into a socket-head bolt, replacing the standard disc bolt Note: The Caponord and Futura both have an electronic speedometer, but use a 2-wire inductive type sensor - unfortunately, the signal generated by this sensor is too weak for the Pro-Oiler to read. On all other Aprilia V2's, the read switch and magnet setup is replaced by a tap from the electronic speedo sensor, which uses the typical Hall-effect type sensor. Click here for more info |
